Sexual Predator on the loose, Carteret, New Jersey Part 2 As Promised

Good Morning everyone. As I promised yesterday here is part two of Mohamed Radwan’s story. I want to remind everyone this is not my story ...

President Trump's Message to North Korea is Heard Loud and Clear.

It’s no secret the United States and Korea have had issues dating back to the Korean War. During our last administration Korea flexed their muscles by conducting five nuclear weapons test and working on developing a long-range missile that would be able to hit a target thousands of miles away. It is their way of telling the United States they aren’t afraid of us.

From 2001 to 2007 the US and Korea battled back and forth in one negotiation or another. Somewhere along that timeline in the early part of 2003 began the six party talks which would include the United States, the two Koreas, Japan, China, and Russia. At first North Korea was against it stating the nuclear issue was strictly between North Korea and the United States. Once pressure was put on North Korea by China that was the beginning of the three party talks which, as I am sure you can figure out, was between North Korea, China and the United States. These talks took place in Beijing and shortly after that is when the six party talks started taking place.

Many issues were discussed and some not liked by North Korea so they walked out on the talks but did return later on. Their anger, of course, was aimed at the United States. On February 8, 2007 the action for action agreement was reached. To show goodwill on all sides led the United States to unfreezing North Korean assets which were previously frozen. Baby steps but they were working hard to get there.

On February 13, 2007 during the six party talks an outline to take steps towards the normalization of political relations with Pyongyang, the capital of the largest city in the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, a replacement of the Korean Armistice Agreement with a peace treaty, and the building of a regional peace structure for Northeast Asia was disgust.

It was agreed that in exchange for fuel aid North Korea would shut down its Yongbyon nuclear facility. As for the United States they agreed to begin discussions on normalization of relations with North Korea and to begin the process of removing them from the list of state sponsors of terrorism.
It was in June of 2008 that the United States agreed to start lifting restrictions after North Korea began the disarming process. President Bush made the announcement North Korea would be removed from the state sponsors of terrorism once North Korea released a 60 page declaration of its nuclear activities. A video was released by North Korea of the demolition of their nuclear reactor in Yongbyon the Bush Administration was both praised and criticized by those who thought we settled for too little and looking back on it now, we probably did.

In 2009 once again there was a strain to the relationship between the US and North Korea with the arrest of two US journalist on the North Korea boarder in China while supposedly filming a documentary. They were working on a story about the trafficking of women and supposedly they crossed over the border into North Korea. They were tried and sentenced to twelve years of hard labor. This wasn’t going to end in a blink of an eye. The ordeal came to an end on August 4th when former President Bill Clinton secured the release of the two American journalist. There are rumors to how this all came about but former President Clinton arrived in Pyngyang supposedly on a private matter and ended up leaving with the journalist. Of course everyone was thrilled and thankful for his intervention.

With the death of Kim Jong-il’s in December of 2011 North Korea was now handed over to the little man in charge now, Kim Jong-un. Not elected into office of course he just inherited it. Now up goes the smoke screen as this new dictator announces a freeze on nuclear testing, long range missile launches, and uranium enrichment at the Yongbyon plant. He even allowed in inspectors, which made Obama so happy he sent them 240,000 tons of food, mostly in the form of biscuits. The kinship was short lived because just a two weeks later on Marcy 16, 2012 the little man of North Korea announced to mark the 100th anniversary of the late Kim II-sung’s birthday he was going to launch the Kwangmyongsong-3 satellite. It’s been a cat and mouse game ever since. He threatens the US and Obama takes away food aid as if that was going to stop this maniac.

Under the Obama administration there was no fear of any real retaliation and that wasn’t just for Korea that was most nations. They didn’t worry if the US said they were going to do anything because they all knew Obama and his administration was all talk and no action.

Well now there’s a new sheriff in town folks and he is kicking ass and taking names but the best part is he isn’t telegraphing it to the enemy as our past administration has done so this has given North Korea a little something to think about. With President Trump’s policy of not telling the media what he plans to do before he does it and giving the heads up to the enemy so they can be ready and waiting North Korea witnessed what the rest of the world did this week when President Trump sent a message loud and clear not only to Asaad but to ISIS.

So today the world watched as the celebration in Korea commenced. Many people were sitting on pins and needles wondering if he would once again test a nuclear weapon as he has in the past years even with President Trump’s warning but he didn’t. Of course President Trump wasn’t sitting on his hands waiting to see if he would or wouldn’t. In anticipation of North Korea doing exactly what they said they were President Trump sent ships and submarines towards North Korea in a massive show of force. It was more than just flexing his muscles, Trump meant business. Although President Trump did acknowledge Kim Jong-un’s nuclear threat was real he still didn’t show his hand on how he was going to handle the situation.

President Trump has gone to the President of China and requested their help in the situation with North Korea but also made it very clear if China could not reel this lunatic in the US is willing to do what it has to do to stop any nuclear threat.

This morning as many watched the news to see the outcome of the morning’s events in North Korea they watched as Kim Jong-un did not speak during the parade. People watched with anticipation of the possibility of a sixth nuclear test or worse yet a major missile launch that could possibly be capable of reaching the U.S. shores. However instead of carrying out a sixth test a series of missiles were rolled out on trucks to join in the parade for all to see.

Now we will see if President Xi of China, can convince Kim Jong-un that President Trump is not like any President they have seen in a long time. If he can do this and bring North Korea to their senses then there we will be able to live together and perhaps work for the better good but if not President Trump will not back down. He has said this time and again his enemy will never know when he is going to do what needs to be done to get the job done and get it done right.

No one wants to go to war. It does not benefit anyone but we cannot allow people to bully us or others without taking a stand. This weekend Vice President Pence and his wife are headed to South Korea and Japan basically to meet with the leaders there and assure them the U.S. will do whatever they can to defend them against any aggression by North Korea without acting in a way that might bring open conflict.

President Trump has some amazing advisors on his side. People who know the military, know how things are done and they get the job done. As a nation we must stand behind our President even if we are afraid North Korea will carry out its threat because there is nothing stopping them from doing that any time they see fit to throw a temper tantrum. He cannot allow anyone to walk all over us and for us to keep backing up and taking it. The United States must stand her ground and President Trump is doing an amazing job letting all those who think they know us know things have changed as of January 20, 2017, the day President Trump took office.

Am I concerned about going to war, of course I am. I worry about everyone I know already in the military and everyone I know of age to be in the military but I also know from history a leader cannot sit on his hands while people are threatened. The United States is a world leader and we cannot allow any bullies to keep kicking sand and fighting to make us back up so as not to upset them. It’s time to take a stand, protect those who cannot protect themselves, but most importantly, keep our shores safe from harm. It’s time to stand up and be heard, to prove to the world once more America is a force to be reckoned with.

I pray every day our world leaders are not as off the wall as they want us to believe and these talks will bring about a quiet and peaceful agreement. You leave us and the rest of the world alone and we will leave you alone. Thank you to all our military personnel who are out there protecting our shores, thank you to Vice President and Mrs. Pence for giving up their Easter Holiday to work on bringing peace in a hostile environment, and Thank you to President Trump for standing up for America as you promised from day one.

May God Bless America and keep the world safe and at peace.

Make America Great Again by Making America United Again!

As I look at the window on this beautiful spring day and see the beauty of the cherry blossoms as they begin to bloom I wonder why so many people can see all this beauty and hold so much anger inside. I listened to people talk over the last 4 years of President Obama’s term in office about how angry they were, and how much they wanted a change. I watched as this beauty before my eyes this morning, went from bright and sunny to dark and cloudy because of all the anger and fear instilled in the people of this great nation. I wondered why our government would want to fight so hard to divide this nation worse than it ever was and then it hit me, like it hit so many others. The only reason anyone would want America to be so divided is to destroy us from within because united no one can take us down but divided, there is always a chance we will fall.

All the praying people did for a change, to have a President that could do the job and bring us all together again, was answered. Donald J. Trump was elected the 45th President of the United States of America not the Divided States. So why are so many people still fighting to keep this country divided? Is it really just because their candidate lost and their feelings are hurt or is it because there are people who want to see this country fall? Well let me tell you folks, the only way this country will fall is we allow it, if “We the People” abandon her.

Our President has proven himself to be a man of his word in so many ways already. Working hard to bring jobs back into the country, struggling against the establishment in Congress to fix a broken system like Obamacare, fighting to fix the budget of an already over spent government, trying to lower taxes for the people and businesses alike, but no matter what he does his battle comes in Congress as they try their best to make him fail. Why they would want that isn’t a mystery. You see if he fails then those who wish to see our nation crumble down, wins.

I am not a doomsayer so please do not misunderstand what I am saying. It is no secret that our government has been heading in the wrong direction for many years but over the last eight years it has taken a turn for the worse. Like a cancer growing and nothing the doctors do can make it go away. So now it’s time to get another opinion, another look at the way things need to be done so that this country can regain her strength and honor. President Trump is that second opinion, he is a breath of fresh air who is viewing the issues of this nation and the world with a fresh pair of eyes and ears. He hasn’t been listening to the propaganda of the left and even some right for so many years he can’t think for himself. No, President Trump is his own man and if we allow him to do his job we will experience something as a nation we not felt in a long time, Unity.

I can understand the stress and disgust from some of the people in this country because I often feel the same way when I listen to news stations like CNN, MSNBC and others. The negativity these so called news commentators spew can make someone not only sick to their stomach but full of fear. Look at last week’s actions taken by President Trump against Syria after they bombed their own people with chemical gas killing men, women and children. At first it was all good but it quickly turned to propaganda, the spreading of fear America needs to have because of what Putin might do. How Trump should have gone to Congress for permission before he did what he had to do. What don’t they get in all of this? You see President Trump is our Commander and Chief and did not declare war so he didn’t have to ask Congress for permission. Wake up America! Get your heads out of the ground and start using your brains again! My God, it would be refreshing if, for once, we were all on the same page.

I want you to take a look around and see the beauty of this country. All the amazing historical sites to be seen and history to be learned right before your eyes. Take some of the tours at these places and learn about the amazing men and women in our history who fought so hard for us to have a good life and to be able to give an even better life to our children and grandchildren. Their dreams will be crushed if this country does not, once again, unite and hold strong.

I am sure that many of us in todays United States can think of at least one person they know who is working to serve and protect this country or their community. Someone who has served in the military, is serving now in the military, or perhaps is on a police force or fire department working to keep the community safe. Now think about the sacrifices they have had to make in their lives in order to do this job no one else wants because it’s a thankless job with little pay and long hours.

I am so amazed how so many people can get behind their favorite sports team and cheer them on as if their life depended on it but when it comes to their country, to the United States Military they turn a cold shoulder. Really? Tell me is your favorite quarterback, pitcher, goalie, going to put their life on the line so you can sit home and watch them play on Sunday? I don’t think so!

Our young men and women who serve in our military deserve to know they are supported back home. That the people of this great nation are pulling together to once again be united and make ourselves whole. They need to know how much we appreciate all they do and how we stand behind them in unity.

Our President, who has given up so much to serve this country over the next 4 years, needs to see us come together and fight for what we believe in, fight to keep our Constitution strong, and fight to make Congress do what is best for this country and all its people. He needs to know he is not alone in that oval office when he needs to flex the muscles of our military, when he needs to show force in order for the bullies of this world to realize we still are the home of the brave!

I wish I could tell you a march on Washington will fix everything but it won’t. We know that, there have been marches and gatherings to try and pull this country together and still there are the instigators of this country that will put a wrench in the mix and cause problems where there needn’t be any. Nothing worthwhile happens overnight. The pulling apart of this country took at least eight years, although I honestly believe it started before Obama, it just escalated with him.

This mess cannot be fixed in the first 100 days of President Trump being in office. So as a country, a nation of brave men and women, we need to get behind our President. We need to once again stop looking at the color of someone’s skin, the difference in a person’s lifestyle, reel in the jealousy towards those who make more money then you, stop looking down your nose at those who make less then you, and see that none of this makes a difference because together we are what makes America great! We have the power to restore this country to all its glory by once again realizing no one in this country, on this earth, is better than anyone else. We are all here for the common good and want only what is best for all considered. Until we realize this we cannot unite.

So now I call upon all of America to lay your petty differences aside, lend a hand to a neighbor in need, smile at the girl giving you your coffee in the morning even if your day started out poorly, watch out for your neighbors, remember to say thank you, or hold a door opened for a stranger, because these little positive actions will bring about positive reactions. You are probably thinking, she lost her mind, but I haven’t. You see you can’t fix the negativity that has been spread by continuing it. You have to start doing positive things in order to bring about a positive change. A favorite saying of mine is “Positivity begets Positivity,” with this we can turn things around.

I know we are not all always going to agree on the actions or inactions of our government but that’s ok, because we are not robots, we have human reactions. It’s what makes life so interesting but to keep the negative flow going till the slim spills over and gobbles us up isn’t healthy for anyone.
America is the most beautiful land in the world. Obviously it’s not only my opinion since there are so many from all over the globe trying to get in. Funny things is once they get here they try to change things to be as it was in the country the fled. I’m sorry but that’s not the way it is supposed to be. Instead of you coming to our country and we change for you it’s time all those fighting to get into this country realize we are a united front not willing to give in to those who wish to change us.

Remember this, Our Fore Fathers fought to rid this country of tyranny so “We the People,” the “Patriots” of today need to stand united and fight against the tyranny of today, those who wish to come to this country and make changes to better their group of people instead of the entire nation. We need to stand United and fight against terrorism and see to it no more horrors are brought to our shores.

Get behind our President and stand with our Military so we can once again be proud of our history and wave the American Flag in all its Glory. So we can stand up and speak our mind without fear of retaliation from those who wish to destroy us from within, so we can bow our head in prayer, or salute our flag with pride and in order to do this we need to stand United once more. So let’s all start working towards the common good of this great nation and let’s truly work to Make America Great Again by Making America United Again.

May God Bless America and make us united and strong.

American Patriotism

Why is it in the United States of America in 2017 we have people who don’t have a clue how lucky they are to be living here, to be American citizens? What has happened to American Pride? I have always said I grew up knowing how lucky I am to be an American Citizen and how proud my family was to be here in this country.

Patriotism isn’t a bad word or something someone should be ashamed of. To be a patriot means you love, support and defend your country. Now how you do that is up to you. Some people join the military and put their life on the line so others can live peaceful and free. Many of those living under the protection of our military hardly give a thought to the sacrifice they make to ensure our freedoms.
Other patriots may choose to use their voice or the pen in order to be heard, to express their love and loyalty to their country. Then still there are those who just hold their pride close to their hearts in their belief in their country and the traditions and history they hold dear. Patriots come in all shapes and sizes as well as all walks of life.

Think back to the bombings of the World Trade Center, yes bombings. The first February 26, 1993 a truck bomb detonated below the North Tower, killing six and injuring thousands. Then the attack on September 11, 2001. There wasn’t an American alive who didn’t wear their patriotism on their sleeve. Why does it take a disaster before people come together to show their patriotism and why do people so easily forget how wonderful that pride feels?

From when this country was first settled people talked about their love for their new land, their desire to see their country grow strong and proud. They were patriots who wanted nothing more than to live a life and be free of tyranny. All the wars this land has lived through and all the horrors we have seen in past generations have been lost on those today.

WWI we had one hell of a patriot in George M. Cohan who received the Congressional Medal of Honor from President Franklin Delano Roosevelt for his contributions to WWI morale. Check out "Your a Grand Old Flag," https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lxyt1Vt5ejY&list=RDlxyt1Vt5ejY and  "Over There," https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i5oWH6JWBJY Better yet you want to see true patriotism watch the movie "Yankee Doodle Dandy." Feel the pride they held in this country come to life right before your eyes. You can feel it come through the screen.

Evolution changed patriotism. Viet Nam hit and people suddenly started looking at America as the enemy not the friend just trying to help out. People in this country didn’t thank our soldiers for their hard work and sacrifices they cursed them. Now all these years later, our Viet Nam veterans are getting thanked because so many of us have grown up and realized what we didn’t know then, we are lucky to be on American soil. Now we face a generation of softies. Hurt feelings and despair, hiding in corners, crying, and wanting everything to be perfect in their own little bubble. They could care less about the flag, about the government or about the country all they care about is what is in it for them.

Patriots today need to be like the patriots of yesteryear, Our Founding Fathers. They need to be loud, to speak out against government policies and actions. They need to fight for what is best for the nation as a whole and not just one particular group. Just because a group of people are loud and obnoxious doesn’t make them right and we, real Americans, should not cower from standing up for what we truly believe in, our country, our rights.

People have shied away from doing things as simple as posting a sign in support of a candidate running for office for fear of retribution. The American Flag which has been so proudly displayed in past years has been taken down due to the implications of it insulting others feelings. This is America, the red, white and blue are the colors of our flag and should be displayed with pride and anyone who disgraces that flag should be have to face some consequences under the law. Although the laws have been changed to protect these loud mouths and not our flag.

This country has the most amazing patriots to ever walk the face of the earth, our Veterans who have given everything they have and will give more if asked for the betterment and safety of this great nation. Once again I call upon, “We the People of this great nation,” to stand our ground. To show our pride and patriotism for this great land. Do not let anyone push her around as if she does not matter. Do not take the side of those who would love to see her fall. Stand united and ban together to fight for what is right and keep our freedoms strong.

I don’t know about you but I like the idea of being allowed to speak my mind, to pray as I see fit, to stand up for my country and be proud to be what I am, a patriot. America is my country, my flag will always wave high with honor and I will not allow anyone to disgrace either. If it was not for all those wonderful men and women who have fought the wars, were left with battle scares we can see and not see, I would not be able to speak my mind today. So to all those wonderful Veteran Patriots I thank you from the bottom of my heart for all your hard work and dedication to the people of this great nation. You have made this country the land of the free and the home of the brave.

May God Bless America and all of her Patriots, past present and with the help of God, yet to come.

Immigrating Through the Ellis Island Station

Immigration in this country has been controlled by the federal government since April 18, 1890 but before that immigrants arriving in New York City were process by the New York State officials. This was done at Castle Garden Immigration Depot located in Lower Manhattan. Congress appropriated $ 75,000 in order to build America’s first federal immigration station. Can you guess where that was? How up are you on American History? Well if you said Ellis Island, you are correct. Until the construction of Ellis Island was complete the Barge Office at the Battery was used for immigrant processing.

It took about two years to construct the first station at Ellis Island which opened on January 1, 1892. Amazingly the first day of operation the island saw 700 immigrants pass through and by the end of the first year 450,000 immigrants were processed at the station. The first building construction on Ellis Island was a large three story structure along with outbuildings. It was built of Georgia pine so in June of 1897 when a fire broke out the wood building was burned to the ground. Thankfully no one was injured but unfortunately many immigration records were lost dating back to 1855 since all immigration records were held there. The fire was believed to be caused by faulty wiring so their plans to build a new building were to be fireproof.

Of course we still have immigrants arriving and they still needed a place to be processed so once again the Barge Office was used at the Battery. The new building was built from red brick and limestone trim and opened on December 17, 1900. The building main building and outbuildings took a period of five years to complete. It started in 1897 with the construction of the main building which was completed in 1900. The Kitchen and Laundry building, main powerhouse, and the main hospital building were completed by 1901.

My grandmother told us stories of being in the great hall, as she called it, where everybody ate. Obviously it was the dining room. In doing my research I found the dining room held about 1,000 people. She also spoke of how hard it was to settle down, to find a place to rest, because it was over crowded. So many people she said, children scared and crying, not because of any other reason than they just weren’t comfortable. There were bunk beds for people the men in one area the women and children in another but there weren’t enough blankets to go around. So many different languages yet they all learned to communicate with one another.

When her family left there they took the train and headed for New Jersey but she said others were going far away because they had family in other parts of the country or a hope to find a better future somewhere else. She said it was quite an experience but not one she ever regretted because she got to come here and be an American Citizen. Of course she said this with a heavy broken accent and my grandmother often left off the end of words but we understood her completely. Even my great grandmother who spoke very little if any English, yes or no but other than that I only remember her speaking Italian and yet we understood her and answered her in English.

Immigrants were arriving by way of Ellis Island at the rate of an average of one million per year.  In 1924 the Immigration Act was passed. This act restricted immigration and allowed processing to take place at overseas embassies. From here on out the only immigrates who came through Ellis Island Station were the ones who had problems with their immigration papers, displaced people, and war refugees.

Amazingly there are over 100 million American Citizens who can trace their ancestry to immigrants coming to America by way of Ellis Island. When they arrived at Ellis Island they were asked a series of questions. Of course they were asked their name, but contraire to what the rumors are, officers on Ellis Island didn’t force anyone to take a new name. As a matter of fact they used the passenger list which was given to them by the steamship company who carried them to their final destination of Ellis Island. It is true that there were many names spelled a bit differently due to the pronunciation of certain letters of the alphabet not only in the English language but other languages as well. They were asked how much money they had on them, again for some it was only a few dollars and there was no offer to help them financially when they arrived. No offer for housing and no offer for food stamps because it was important to our government that these immigrants could support themselves without being a burden on society. At that time the average amount the government expected them to arrive with was between $ 18.00 and $ 25.00. There were some who were considered unskilled workers who were returned to their own country because the government had concerns they would be unable to find work and become a “public charge.”

As for health problems if they arrived with visible health issues or diseases they were either sent home or held at the island’s hospital for long periods of time. The hospitals on the island saw their fair share of heart break with more than three thousand deaths. People were kept there to be sure they would not infect the American population with whatever illness they may be carrying. There were approximately 2 percent of immigrants who were denied entrance into the United States and sent back to their homeland for different reasons. Some were sent back because of contagious disease, as I said, the government was concerned about the safety of its citizens. Anyone with a criminal background was not admitted and yet today we are willing to open our doors to anyone and get upset when our government wants to vet people and get rid of ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS, especially those with a criminal record. What a hoot! Even people with disabilities such as, mental illness, physical or lung issues, heart issues, and more were returned home. So just because you made the trip didn’t mean you were able to come into the country.

It wasn’t until after 1924 that Ellis Island became primarily a detention and deportation station. After World War II it was used to hold German merchant mariners and “enemy aliens.” December 1941, Ellis Island housed 279 Japanese, 248 German, and 81 Italians, it was designated as a permanent holding facility and used throughout the war. During this time there were a total of 7,000 Germans, Italians, and Japanese detained there.

Another part it played during WWII was our sick or wounded U.S. soldiers were processed there after returning from the war and it was used as a training base for the U.S. Coast Guard. Still during this time of caring for our sick and wounded soldiers and serving as a training base for our Coast Guard, they still managed to process tens of thousands of immigrants a year but it was a lot less coming in then before the war. In 1950 the Internal Security Act of 1950 was passed. This act barred all members of the communist or fascist organizations from entering the United States.

The first immigrant to pass through the doors of Ellis Island was a 17 year old girl from Cork, Ireland, Annie Moore on January 1, 1892 with her two brothers. They came here to join their parents who had arrived in New York two years before them. Since she was the first one to be processed she received a greeting from officials and a $ 10.00 gold coin. With eyes opened wide she was said it was the largest amount of money she ever had.  In 1954 Ellis Island saw its last person pass through. This was a Norwegian merchant seaman by the name of Arne Peterssen. He was not greeted by officials or offered a gold coin as he entered the United States.

After the closing of Ellis Island the buildings were left to fall into disrepair since it was abandoned. A forgotten part of our history left to rot but on October 15, 1965 Ellis Island became a part of the State of Liberty National Monument and was listed one year later on the National Register of Historic Places. It was time to restore her and bring her back for all to see and explore.

It was going to take a lot of money and fundraising to bring this structure back to life. The budget was $150 million dollars if they wanted to do it right. Political fundraiser Wyatt A. Stewart organized a campaign to raise the funds needed. The work started and the building reopened to the public on September 10, 1990. So much to see there it’s amazing.

The Ellis Island Immigration Museum gives you a peak into the way it was for immigrants of the times. Some of the things you wouldn’t want to miss are the Hearing room, Peak Immigration years, Restoring a Landmark, Treasures from Home, and so much more. While you are there don’t miss the museums library which was named after one of the most famous immigrants to pass through the station, Bob Hope.

One of my favorite things to see on the island is the Wall of Honor located outside the main building. This wall contains only a partial list of immigrants processed on the island. If you know your family came through Ellis Island you can have their name put on the Wall of Honor by making a donation to support the facility. I have to say I cry every time I go there and see the names of my grandparents both maternal and paternal on that wall. It is an amazing feeling especially knowing how proud they were to come here and become American citizens. They have instilled in me so much pride in this country, in my home, and I have them to thank for the foundation they gave our family, for their hard work and dedication to us, and for teaching us how lucky we are for being here in America and having the opportunities we have today.

May God Bless America and restore her to all her glory.

President Trump A Real Commander and Chief

For the past two days the main stream media can do nothing but talk about the air strike President Trump ordered on Syria. It took a while but we all new in time they would find fault with it. They would dig up people who could not understand why he would do something like that or claim he is too inexperienced to now take the lead and do whatever else needs to be done.  Like I said before no matter what he does they will never wholeheartedly agree with him. Does it really matter? Not to me it doesn’t because God gave me a brain so I can read, learn, listen, hear, and think for myself. I do not need to listen to the doomsayers or Debbie Downers in order to make up my mind. In other words I am not a Snowflake!

Last night CNN interviewed Kassem Eid, a Syrian refugee who survived the Syrian chemical attack of 2013. The look on the anchor woman’s face said it all. CNN was not expecting to hear what Kassem had to say about President Trump. Actually she looked as if she just sucked on a lemon and got it stuck in her mouth as Kassem thanked and praised the actions of President Trump.

Kassem told CNN he cried with joy by President Trump’s reaction to the chemical attack on his country. He spoke of how grateful he was not only to President Trump but to all the people who lobbied for Trump to do something, for the United States to stand up to this madman Assad. Of course CNN wasn’t getting the answer they wanted so they asked him how he felt about a comment made by Hillary Clinton concerning Presidents Trump stand on the travel ban and not wanting to take in more refugees. After they played a short clip of Clinton on her high horse the anchor woman returned to Kassem for his comment. He politely put her in her place saying “With all due respect” and basically saying where, was Clinton when they needed her in the past. He emphasized they do not want to come to the United States they want to stay in their own country. Like us, they love their country, their homes, and the lives they built with their families. They do not want to be displaced and feel as if they are a burden to others. He ended his interview by asking President Trump not to give up on them and “If you want to help us, help us stay in OUR country!” He called for President Trump to get rid of Assad and ISSIS so they can go home and start to rebuild all that has been destroyed. That’s how we can help them.

Next it was Judge Jeanine Pirro on Fox, of course. She wouldn’t give CNN the time of day. I always enjoy the way the Judge puts things. She is right to the point and far from politically correct. She made no qualms about the weakness of our past President standing by and doing nothing in 2013 while hundreds suffered and died at the hand of Assad. She scoffed at the critics who are now arguing that the warning President Trump gave Putin about the missile strike shows there is collusion between the two. They don’t see it was a way for Trump to show Putin he was not looking for a World War only to put a stop to Assad and his craziness.

Like I said you have to love the way she just comes out and says what’s on her mind as she said, “For all those people who said there was this ‘brormance’ between Donald Trump and Putin, well, the ‘bromance’ is over.” Well said Judge and I agree with her 100 %. There never was anything between Russia and Trump but the media needs to keep the story alive and well so they can keep spinning their web of lies.

I have made no bones about my family coming here as legal aliens over a hundred years ago. Proud of coming to this country for a better life for their family. They never went back to Italy but that was their choice to leave and their choice not to return. These people in Syria have not been given a choice and because of their religious beliefs they are being persecuted, women and children along with men are being murdered by their own government. Still these refugees don’t want us to open our doors to them they want us to help open the doors to Syria so they can go home and be in the land they love since they did not make the choice to leave and start over in a new strange land.

Kasheem is not the first refugee to express his desire to return home to his country and start his life again. I read a blog by a young man who was only 22 when the fighting started and living not far from Damascus. He too lived through the attack from Assad with chemical weapons and tells of how they also dropped barrel bombs and missiles on them using the regime aircraft. They were literally living in hell on earth.

The only way out was to get fake documents and each time he had to pass through a check point he feared being discovered, arrested, and taken away. He is now living in a refugee camp in Germany and thankful to them for taking him in but still wants to return home where he can one day finish school as he was a medical student. The horrors he has had to endure at such a young age is heart breaking but this is not their fault. They live under the rule of a madman who should never be allowed to stay in office.

Displaced, these refugees cannot go home like my ancestors could. They are stuck in limbo hoping and praying for the war to stop. Their cries have not been heard by those in power as they beg for someone, anyone with the power and strength to stand up to Assad and give them back their home.  To take him out of power and give the Syrian’s back their country. All this time, all these years, no one has heard their cries for help but they have opened their doors to these refugees who just want to be able to go home and live their lives. Who have begged world leaders to help them get their country back and yet no one has listened.

Instead the mainstream media has painted President Trump and the American people who oppose us opening our doors to just anyone as being horrible. Well, finally these refugees have someone who heard their pleas in President Donald Trump. He will not stand by and allow these atrocities to go on anymore. He will not allow Assad to kill innocent people and he will not be bullied.
For the first time in a long time these Syrian refugees have hope of one day being able to return home. That hope came with President Trump flexing his muscles and proving to the world the United States will not stand ideally by and allow these things to happen. He will be there for those who want and need our help.

The liberals in this country need to do some research and read all the stories from the Syrian refugees posted online, begging for help to return home to their own country and not come here to the United States or anywhere else. They have a right to be in their own homes, in their own country, and to be free to do as they wish, to worship as they wish and live their lives as they have always dreamed. No one should be allowed to take that from them.

If we really wanted to help these people then get behind President Trump. Stand strong and united as a country and show our support for everyone in Syria, all those who have already been displaced, and President Trump and his administration so they can do whatever it takes to get the job done and bring everyone home. It’s time we all stood together and showed the world the United States stands strong and we all stand behind our President as our Commander and Chief.

May God Bless America and help the Syrian refugees return to their homeland without having to live in fear.

President Trump Did What He Had To Do

Three days ago the world watched in horror at one of the worst chemical bombings in Syria. Dozens are killed, including innocent children, after breathing in the deadly poison. The world watched in shock and horror as the horrific scene unfolded in front of us on our televisions. Imagine the horrors of those who were there, the doctors and rescue workers who could do nothing to help those who had been effected by poison dropped on them in the early morning hours.

Of course Assad claimed his government had nothing to do with it. As if we haven’t heard that before. The Syrian military released a statement accusing insurgents as being responsible. Russia came up with another explanation claiming Syrian warplanes had struck an insurgent storehouse containing the toxic chemical. Neither excuse rings true in my ears, I don’t know about anyone else but if we gave this any thought, and I am sure we all have, it would be obvious this attack had to be the Syrian military. Of course we are not privy to the intelligence collected so we could only speculate.

Yesterday on social media people were outraged. They did their usual comments of how Obama didn’t do his job, how he was soft and indecisive all while demanding to know what President Trump was going to do. Of course I am putting it nicely as we all know how nasty people can get on social media.

Last night President Trump answered the world on what he intended to do in response to the chemical bombings in Syria. He gave the go ahead to launch some fifty-nine Tomahawk missiles at the Syrian base in which the warplane used to launch the chemical attack on Tuesday is believed to have come from. At 8:45 pm Eastern Time which was 3:45 am Friday morning in Syria that attack took place as President Trump sent a message to the Syrian government America will not draw a line in the sand, we will not tolerate bullying and we will not stand by as innocent people are murdered.

Meanwhile we have Russia condemning the attack calling it an “aggression against a sovereign state.” They also said it was a violation of international law. Well they are so upset about the bombing of the base but yet they aren’t upset about the murder of innocent children in Syria.

Last night the United States of America and the world saw a different President Trump as he took the podium after the strike on Syria. The strong voiced, outspoken man we have all come to know over the past two years was quiet in comparison of past days as he recounted the horrors we all witnessed on Tuesday. The heartbreak of witnessing all the men, women and children who were so brutally murdered.

Today on social media we have the usual once again, those who are condemning Our President’s decision to stand up for the innocent, and those who are in support of his decision. To my shock we have had many from Congress come out in support of his actions as well as the news media.

I have read many social media posts since last night and what kills me is the question like how do we know they had enough Intel it was Syria, we have a right to know this or that, why is he so sure the Intel was correct? OK, so I said this last night in response to a few posts on social media, it’s OK to listen to our intelligence community when it comes to Trump collaborating with Russia but it’s not alright to listen to them and believe they know what they are talking about when it comes to Assad killing innocent people. Where is the logic in all of this?

It’s not as though the Syrians bombed their own people with chemicals on Tuesday morning and on Tuesday afternoon Trump went off half cocked and blasted them. He did what he had to do. Intelligence was gathered, he met with his advisers, the military and anyone else he needed advice from and then he made an educated decision, one that isn’t easy for anyone. The decision to put people in harm’s way is never an easy decision for any President. Unfortunately this falls on our Commander and Chief but fortunate for us we now have one that is not afraid to stand up to the bullies of this world and prove America does not run. We help the weak, we support those in need, and stand up proud and fight for what we believe in.

What we all need to think about is if the Syrians or anyone else can do that to their own people what would they do if they were to come after us on our own soil? Do you think they would play nice and invite us in for tea? No, those chemical weapons they are testing on their own people they would gladly launch at us. We cannot, with a clear mind, look the other way and expect our President to run and cower in the corner allowing anyone and everyone to do as they saw fit without any fear of retribution from us or any other country in the world.

As President Trump said last night “It is in vital national security interest of the United States to prevent and deter the spread and use of deadly chemical weapons.” Do you think he was saying this just to hear himself talk? He also called for “civilized nations” to join us in putting an end to the carnage in Syria so “peace and harmony will prevail.”

Think back to when he was running for office. Think back to his comments on what he would and would not do in a situation where we may be needed to join in the fight. Then candidate Trump made it loud and clear that he would not share Intel, top secret information, with the nation before doing what needed to be done. He said he would not televise a week in advance his plan to attack the next week and give our enemy a chance to be prepared. Top secret information is not to be shared with the public over a television interview or speech given by anyone in our government. We have grown so used to a President who shared everything with not only America but the world, that we are shocked we actually have an adult in charge. For some of us it is hard to understand but we are not the ones who are responsible for the safety of all American’s, Our President is. Putting things out there for the public to debate is not the way to get the job done. Putting your money where your mouth is, is the way to get things done no matter who isn’t happy with your decision.

It is now time for all Americans, “We the People,” to stop bickering and start getting behind our President. To stand united as a country for peace and justice for all nations. No one wants to see fighting, no one wants to see their child go off to a foreign land to fight these animals but sometimes there is no other choice. President Trump had to make a difficult decision yesterday. One I am sure he had hoped he could get through the next 4 years without ever having to make but the events of the last couple of days didn’t allow that.

We have never run from a fight, or left the innocent to fend for themselves at least not until the Obama administration when everything was smoothed over only to blow up when the bullies decided to test the waters once more. Only this time they found out President Trump does not put his tail between his legs and cower in the corner. He doesn’t say one thing and do another. He may not have liked what he had to do but he stood up straight, proud and determined as he gave the order to do what needed to be done. To send a message to Assad and anyone else who thought they could bully us into complying with their wishes. It’s unfortunate but sometimes we have no choice but to fight fire with fire.

I for one stand behind President Trump and this administration for their decision to strike last night. There was no other way to get the message across. We will not stand for the mass murder of innocent people. We will not draw a line in the sand but we will stand up to anyone who feels they want to cross the line draw by our past administration. We will protect our shores, will stand by those who need our help, who ask for our help, and we will do what needs to be done to bring peace and harmony to the world. Freedom does not come free, unfortunately we know that better than anyone else since we are always the ones called upon by those in need, seeking to be free.

May God Bless America and bring peace and harmony to the world.

Why Are So Many People Envious of Our First Family?

This fixation our country has with the First Family is beyond anything I have ever seen. Since the beginning of this campaign there have been nasty things said about every one of the Trump family. Now President Trump is living in the White House doing the job he was elected to do but so many people in this country have taken pot shots at him and his family almost every chance they get.

President Trump is sworn into office and the big question weighing on the minds of many tabloid reading Americans is “Why isn’t Melania Trump moving into the White House with her husband?” I have heard so much speculation as to why she did not move in when he did but as a mother, who loves her children, I will tell you this, they have an eleven year old son. He was ten when his father was sworn into office and as a young child that had to be surreal for him. Now he is midway through the school year and everyone expects him to be uprooted and pulled out of school to start a new school in the middle of the year, as if he hasn’t been through a lot already. As parents who care about their child the First Lady and President did what any parent would do and they put their child first. I do not understand the outrage of the American people and the nasty remarks made by so many.

This First Family has been put under the microscope as if they don’t have feelings. The nasty remarks made about young Barron Trump have been horrible. As a parent I am disgusted with the way adults have talked about this child who did nothing but proudly stand by his father as he was sworn into office and act like a ten year old child. Excuse me if that bothered people but I for one think he is a very handsome, well-mannered young man, and should be considered as a number one priority not only by his parents, but the people of this nation.

People like to talk garbage but look in your own backyard before you start spewing hate at anyone else. You may not like President Trump’s stance on things but to attack his wife, children and grandchildren is ridiculous. What bothers you more the fact he is a billionaire and in the White House or the fact he was on television and is in the White House? Once again it reminds me of the old saying, “People who live in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones.” My mother and father always said that and it wasn’t until I got older that understood it.

You are no better than me and even as our President he is not better than any of us. I don’t care if you make billions of dollars a year or just a few thousand to get by and care for your family. You are still no different. You each get up in the morning, get dressed, go to work, and do what needs to be done to care for yourself and if you are lucky enough to have one, your family. Yet our First Family, by many, have been looked down upon and for no apparent reason other than their candidate didn’t win.
Ivanka Trump is an amazingly talented, intelligent woman. Strong and sure of herself and I think that scares a lot of people. Especially other women who feel they are on the same level as she is until they get to actually talk to her and realize she is not only stunning but she has brains and knows what she wants and how to accomplish it. She has been attacked by the media and even industry not because they don’t like her or her clothing design but because they don’t like her father in politics. You see before President Trump decided to run for office they all liked him. They did business with him and that includes many of these democratic cronies in office today as well as the republican rino’s who just want him to go way.

So why all the hostility to towards this family? Why all the hostility towards President Trump? Of course I can’t speak for everyone but I do enjoy reading tweets and face book posts from people who like to voice their opinion and I do from time to time listen to other news stations besides FOX so I can and will give my opinion on this. People fear what they don’t understand and on thing many Americans are not used to and do not understand is bluntness and someone actually being elected into office and does his job.

Many of us live in towns where the same Mayor has held office since we were kids or the Councilmembers have been around forever and it works for them. I for one like to stir the pot and bring in new blood so people actually work for their spot and fight hard to keep it since they know any time they can honestly be replaced. Many of us live in towns that are starting to fall apart around our ears and no one is doing anything to fix up the mess because they are walking around with blinders on and don’t see what is right in front of them. Yet the taxes keep going up and the businesses are dwindling down. Home owners are fighting desperately to keep their homes two steps ahead of a foreclosure or unable to pay their ever rising property tax. It’s become the normal, so we have just kept quiet and accepted it.

Now we have someone who decides to run for office whom people have been begging to run for years but he has always said “Only if the country gets so bad I have no other choice.” Going back to when Oprah’s show was worth watching she interviewed him and asked him why he didn’t run for office he gave her the same answer. Now this man who has his eyes opened decides to run for President and all those who begged him for donations for their campaigns over the years, whom he helped get in office in hopes of improving this country, have not only turned against him but against his family as well.

You know one of the things I really love about President Trump that I know rubs people the wrong way is how blunt and direct he is. There is no false air about him because he has no filter. He says exactly what is on his mind. He isn’t worried about being politically correct, he is concerned about the people of the United States as a whole and I am sorry but in order to do his job and do it right sometimes you have to be a little rough around the edges. The old saying goes, “Kick ass and take names later, not Kiss ass and see where that gets you.”

When I first heard him speak I thought, “Wow he sounds like my dad, my husband, sons, daughter, who tend to speak their mind.” I am the quiet one of the family believe it or not. Actually I am better at expressing myself in writing unless you do something to hurt my family then you will know my wrath but for the most part I am quiet. I liked what I heard from then Candidate Trump so much so I decided he was the man we needed in the White House and proudly cast my vote for him.

Since he took office I am still proud of casting my vote for him but sorry for the way he is being treated by some of his own party and how hard they are making it for him to get his job accomplished. Remember folks there isn’t only one branch to government there are three, The Executive Branch, of course that’s the office of the President and his staff, his administration, the Legislative Branch which is our House and Senate, you know the people who put the bills out there to make the laws and keep things balanced, and the Judicial Branch which is of course the Supreme Court as well as the lower courts. So without the backing of the legislative branch our President has to fight twice as hard to get things done. Remember this? “Can’t we all just get along?” Seems that hasn’t occurred to some of our Congress members yet.

When Trump spoke during the rallies and people were upset with what he had to say or how he said I attributed it to they aren’t used to the “language” of some people from our neck of the woods. I come from New Jersey and with some of the things Campaign Trump said that set people on their toes spinning around and around I laughed off because I didn’t see it as him having and “attitude” as a matter of fact, his political correctness, I renamed “Jerseytude.” I thought if some of those people could just sit around with regular everyday people who weren’t trying to be pretentious or weren’t afraid to speak their mind they would find out that most of America felt the same way. We just want our families to be able to enjoy their lives the way we did when we were kids. To grow up and have jobs and not worry about terrorists destroying their country, not worry about big corporations taking away the mom and pop shops that built this great land. A simpler, yet happier life our children would never see but we can only hope they find something compatible to it.

That’s how I understand President Trump’s desire to help this country be great once more. That’s how I understood his slogan, “Make America Great Again,” yet that slogan angered people claiming America is great but they have no idea how great she could be and should be.

Now we have a First Family who believes with all their heart in the wonders of this great land. Yes our President was married twice before and divorced twice and now married to his third wife and seeming very happy together raising their youngest son and bringing the rest of the family together as one. This upsets people because he is the President but why? I for one was married twice and divorced twice before I found the man I was meant to be with. This country is made up of mixed families of divorce so what makes them any different from the Trumps? Nothing, absolutely nothing.
Once again I am calling on the people of this country to open their eyes and give this President a chance to fix what is broken. Give him a chance to prove he can do the job and do it well. Bringing us back jobs and hope for families who have lost it, fixing the inner cities and helping children who would otherwise get lost in the system, building our military and yes protecting our boarders. Stop spewing hate at the President and the First Family and perhaps put yourself in their shoes and think how you would feel if the shoe was on the other foot.

I, for one, stand behind my President and I am proud of the appearance of our First Family, their togetherness, their understanding, their obvious love and respect for one another. We have not seen such class in our White House in a long time and I welcome it. I pray we can all put our petty differences aside and give this President a chance to make a difference, the difference, he promised he would fight so hard for.

May God Bless America and watch over our First Family while opening the eyes of the American people who seem to feel threatened by them.
