President Trumps First 100 Days

Since everyone else seems to want to put a spin on President Trump’s first 100 days I thought I would give him some support, not that he needs any because it is all public information for whomever really wants to do their homework and find out what he has accomplished in his first 100 days. So many are so hell bent on bashing him and labeling him as the worst President ever in only 100 days. Really? Have you all not just lived the past 8 years with lack of employment, depletion of our military, riots in the streets, disrespect for law enforcement from the highest office of this country, increase in foreclosures, homelessness, etc.?

Now we have a chance to put this country back on track and more people are afraid of what they may not get for free as opposed to what we can do to fix this country for everyone to live a successful life and not be so miserable. Then again misery loves company so that is why the drama lovers will continue to spread the garbage and negativity.

From day one, President Trump took off running and he hasn’t slowed down since. There isn’t one day he isn’t in a meeting with someone or trying to negotiate a deal to benefit the people of this great nation. How do we know this? The news covers it! Of course they put their own spin on things but hey they are not used to someone telling them no and it’s none of your business because you don’t have the clearance. You can call him anything you want but when push comes to shove President Trump isn’t working for just one group of people, which most news media would like you to believe, he is working for all Americans and sometimes you have to take the long road around because of the road blocks that are put up. Roadblocks that Congress seems to enjoy.

Someone made a comment to me yesterday that it’s not all the Democrats fault because bills aren’t being passed and he’s right. You see our Congressmen and women on both sides of the fence are at fault why this country is in the shape it is in even before President Trump took office. These men and women who think they are in complete control are not used to a President pushing back and that is what has them all up in arms. In my opinion most of them have been in office way too long and it’s time to give them a pink slip and tell them to find another way to make a living instead of off the taxpayers of this country whom they do nothing for.

President Trump has signed 43 orders, actions, and memorandum in his first 100 days to try and do what he promised he would during his campaign. He has met with so much criticism from the press and even many people who are still hooked on the fact his opponent didn’t win. Instead of getting behind the President people rather be up in arms with every order he writes and call him names rather than show support.

What’s wrong with trying to develop our own natural energy instead of us having to rely on foreign countries to supply us? Just think if we can produce our own energy the cost would come down and guess what, there would be jobs for the American people, imagine that!

I didn’t see anything wrong with him working on improvements in the VA either. He promised our veterans better care and it cannot happen if the mess it is in now is not looked into. Employees and veterans alike aren’t going to come forward if there was even the slightest fear of retaliation. All President Trump did was create an office to look into things and now we wait on Congress to pass strong accountability legislation. The office created is a baby step, our veterans need Congress to get behind this and do their jobs.

If we took the time to go over each and every executive order he has signed since taking office I am sure there will be some that upset many and others that please many. The thing we are all missing is he isn’t here to please one group or another. He is here to do a job and if I had to grade him on his first 100 days I would give him an A+. This man has put up with more road blocks then any city in this country has had during a riot over the past few years. His administration has been put under a microscope.

President Trump has been called names like emperor, Hitler, a racists, and so much more yet we accepted a man in office for the last 8 years who didn’t do half as much in his time in office as President Trump has done in only 100 days. We accepted all the expensive vacations the Obama’s took together as a family and separate and never complained about it. Yet President Trump goes to Mar-a-Lago on the weekends and works while he is there yet there are those who are up in arms because it’s costing taxpayers. Where was the outrage when Obama took all those Hawaii vacations and the tax payers even flipped the bill for their designer clothes?

Yeah I know, the liberals are thinking I’m crazy but I’m proud of President Trump and the work he has done so far. I believe there are going to be a lot of good things happening in this country because of this administration. I know there are people who are probably thinking I’m nuts but his record speaks for itself. Its public record since President Trump has taken office there have been 28 bills and resolutions signed into law. If people really wanted to find out what is going on they can read these bills and executive orders and see for themselves. The bills included are as follows:

S.84, H.R. 72, H.R. 255, H.R. 321, H. R. 609, S. 442, S. 305, H.R. 1362, S.J. Res 1, H.R. 1228, H. R. 353, S. 544, S.J. Res 30, S.J. Res 35, S.J. Res 36.

Check the history and you will find President Trump has signed more legislation in his first 100 days than any President since Truman. Now you will have the skeptics who will say they weren’t major pieces of legislation and that’s their prerogative to see it that way. Out of the 28 bills he signed 13 were done under the Congressional Review Act to roll back Obama-era regulations.

I my opinion S. 305 the Vietnam War Veterans Recognition Act is long overdue. All these presidents in the past who toted their love for our military and appreciation for our long ignored Vietnam Veterans never did anything to say thank you to them. I am so glad to see this bill passed and signed.
Another one I feel strongly about is S.J. Res 1 which is a joint resolution to approve the location of a memorial to commemorate and honor members of the Armed Forces who served in active duty in Operation Desert Storm or Operation Desert Shield. Our veterans and their families deserve to know this country appreciates all they have had to sacrifice for our freedoms.

He also signed 30 executive orders which is a considerable amount more than the last 3 Presidents. Actually the only one that has come close to this was President Lyndon B. Johnson who signed 26. Now this isn’t a race or a flex of muscles to see who pushed harder than the other but when there are people saying President Trump isn’t doing anything for the American people that group of critics needs to take a look at what he has done to date and then take a look at what has been done in the past and compare. No it may not be what you wanted him to do but it is what he promised he would do.
There is no doubt in my mind he is working as hard as he can to do what he promised the American people he would do to bring America back to all her glory and “Make America Great Again.” He never promised to have it all done in the first 100 days. You do realize that is just a tad bit past 3 months and no one can get this country back to where it was in that length of time.

I look around the town I grew up in and I see the area changing and the businesses shutting down. The mom and pop shops are gone and you know we don’t have that many large companies around anymore. People are struggling to find jobs, home owners are struggling to pay the property tax because the businesses have left this country to go elsewhere and pay less tax dollars and make more profit. We need a man like President Trump to bring the deals back, to bring the businesses back, the jobs back, and to give us hope again that we will be able to pass on a better legacy to our children and grandchildren.

Thank you President Trump for all your hard work and a great start of your Presidency. The next 4 years can only get better. There are many of us who support and believe in you. United we stand with President Trump.

May God Bless America and keep watching over President Trump so he can fulfill his promises and turn this country around.
