Last night the world was glued to their television as they
watched the horror unfold before them. The attack of a suicide bomber at the
Manchester Arena. A packed arena filled with young children and their parents
to attend the Ariana Grande concert. Since tickets for these events go on sale
long before they are to take place and you can find out online just how many
seats are available, he had all the information he needed to know he was about
to attack a packed house. It didn’t matter to him this house was filled with
children.
There are reports of an arrest being made by the Manchester
Police Department of a 23 year old man in connection with the bombing on Monday
evening. There are also reports that they now believe they know the name of the
man who carried out that attack. Knowing who he is isn’t what matters but
knowing he did this for his so called religious belief is what matters. The
world needs to ban together to rid us of this garbage.
One man, one piece of trash, detonated a homemade explosive
device only minutes after Ariana Grande finished her performance. It was
approximately 10:30 PM in Manchester at the time when this homemade bomb filled
with nuts and bolts was detonated sending thousands young fans and their
families running and screaming for help. Many were separated from their group
and some are still missing.
Ariana Grande, the 23 year old singer from America, was led
to safety. She took to twitter saying:
broken. from the bottom of my heart, i am so so sorry. I don’t
have words.
After witnessing this horror the singer has suspended her
world tour indefinitely. No one can blame her as reports came in she was in
hysterics after the bombing and inconsolable. I can only imagine how hard this
is for her. There were many fans there she had personally met before. Sources
say she is not concerned with her shows at this time and we can all understand
the emotional stress she must be under. In my opinion along with our prayers
for the victims of this horrible attack we should all be adding this young
performer, Ariana Grande, to our prayers and well wishes. Give her some space
so she too can heal.
Unfortunately last night’s attack has left many children and
young adults among the dead and unfortunately missing since some are believed
to have been pulled away from their group as the chaos began. Parents have been
desperately searching for their missing loved ones throughout the night. There
are images all over social media asking for help if you have seen their loved
ones.
As the names start to come in of the victims from last night
the first one I saw this morning was a young girl, only 18 years old, from
Whittle-le-Woods in Lancashire. Georgina Callander was a college student and a
huge fan of Ariana’s. She had the honor or meeting her idol back in 2015 and
posted a picture of herself and Ariana on her Instagram account back then.
Saving that moment for her forever in her history. My prayers go out to
Georgina’s family and friends.
As I watched the news a short while ago the image of this
cute little eight year old girl came across the screen, Saffie Rose Roussos who
was the second victim to be confirmed dead. Saffie was attending the
performance last night with her mother Lisa and her sister Ashlee Bromwich. When
the attack took place Saffie was separated from them. Both her mother Lisa and
her sister Ashlee are being treated for shrapnel injuries. I pray for their
quick recovery from their injuries but I am afraid there are not enough prayers
to heal their hearts for the life they lost.
Many of the people who were injured last night are being
treated for life-threatening conditions in eight different hospitals across
Manchester so I am sure parents and loved ones have been going from place to
place in hopes of finding those who are missing from last night. There are
reports there are twelve victims under the age of 16. This attack was on our
children and cannot be over looked.
I commend the first responders for the amazing work they did
keeping everyone calm and attending to those who were in need of help. I also
commend the people of Manchester for their out pouring of help to those in
need. From people opening their homes to the concert-goers, to hotels near the
venue taking in children to keep them safe until they can be reunited with
their families, to taxi drivers offering people free rides home, and to all the
volunteers who are ready to give blood and help in any way they can. This
community pulled together and did what they had to do to help people they didn’t
even know.
As we all know this investigation is far from over. The
police have a lot of evidence to go over and will have to track the attacker’s
movements in order to find out if there are any others involved. This morning
Prime Minister Theresa May said the bomber had chosen the time and place of his
attack deliberately to cause “Maximum carnage and to kill and injure indiscriminately.”
This was a well thought out attack, he knew when and where to be at that point
and time to do the most damage and he gave no thought to how young his victims
were.
My heart breaks as the images of these young people who had
so much to give, so much to look forward to in life, had their hopes, dreams,
and lives ripped from them and for what? To spread fear among us trying to keep
us living with fear in our hearts, so much so we will fear standing up against
them. Obviously they don’t understand human nature. You attack our children we
will fight back, defend and protect our own. It is time for all nations to ban
together and unite with one thought in mind, rid this world of any and all
Radical Islamic terrorist.
The Islamic State has clearly declared an all-out war against
all nations and they do not care if they hurt our children yet when President
Trump was a candidate and promised to “quickly and decisively bomb the hell out
of ISIS” many people were up in arms because of the children who could be put
in harm’s way. As we can see they do not care about our children, they do not
care who they hurt, who they kill, they only care about spreading fear and
dread. We cannot allow this to continue to go on.
Today, while in Bethlehem, President Trump spoke about the
attack last night at the concert in Manchester. He offered his condolences to
the victims and their families and called these attackers “evil losers in life.”
He called for “all civilized nations” to unite against terrorism and “obliterate
this evil ideology.” This is the message President Trump has been delivering
across the Middle East this week. To unite against terrorism and to put our
differences aside and work together to rid this world of this evil.
This trip is so much more important than the media is making
it out to be. President Trump is on his own World Peace Tour to bring countries
together, to set aside their differences and to stand together in unity so
peace will prevail and evil will fail. In his speech before leaving for Rome
and the Vatican President Trump talked about the possibility of a peace deal
between Israel and Palestine. He met with the leaders of these two countries
and believes they are ready to talk about bringing peace between their
countries. A long awaited peace and if that happens defeating ISIS is just
around the corner and that is what ISIS does not want and probably why they
once again attacked innocent people to prove they are still a power to be
reckoned with.
Well, like so many of us have been saying since January 20th,
2017, there’s a new sheriff it town and he doesn’t back down. President Trump
will be talking to NATO and G7 partners in Europe later this week about
anti-terrorism. So I ask all Americans to let’s give this man a chance and stop
all the bickering because as we can see, there is work to be done and he has
set his sights on getting it done.
President Trump has a tough job ahead of him but we shouldn’t
make it any harder for him to accomplish with protests and riots and screaming
about conspiracy theories. Instead we need to stand beside him and the leaders
of our allies in this fight against terrorism. Those children who were killed
last night, all those injured were out enjoying family time. Innocent and
unaware of the horrors that were about to take place. The world needs to be
able to stand together in order to fight this evil and drive it away. I understand
not everyone is so sure going to war with ISIS is the answer but we need to
protect our children and this may be the only way to do so but along with this
we need prayer. So I ask all my prayer warriors to please take the time every
day to pray for a positive outcome to all of this horror and for the Lord to
watch over all countries and protect them from the horrors of ISIS because if
not there will come a day when we are fighting this fight on American Soil
defending the rights and freedoms we hold so dear once more.
I pray to the Lord to please take these victims of last night’s
attack, wrap these angels in your arms and let them know they are loved. Please
help those who have been injured to heal quickly and please help Ariana Grande
through all of this, Amen.
May God Bless America and May he watch over all our allies
as we battle ISIS to bring peace to the world.
Beautiful well written and very touching.
ReplyDeleteThank you, I hope and pray others hear the call for peace and stop all this craziness and fighting with each other. We need to stand together to fight this evil that lurks around us.
