President Trump A Real Commander and Chief

For the past two days the main stream media can do nothing but talk about the air strike President Trump ordered on Syria. It took a while but we all new in time they would find fault with it. They would dig up people who could not understand why he would do something like that or claim he is too inexperienced to now take the lead and do whatever else needs to be done.  Like I said before no matter what he does they will never wholeheartedly agree with him. Does it really matter? Not to me it doesn’t because God gave me a brain so I can read, learn, listen, hear, and think for myself. I do not need to listen to the doomsayers or Debbie Downers in order to make up my mind. In other words I am not a Snowflake!

Last night CNN interviewed Kassem Eid, a Syrian refugee who survived the Syrian chemical attack of 2013. The look on the anchor woman’s face said it all. CNN was not expecting to hear what Kassem had to say about President Trump. Actually she looked as if she just sucked on a lemon and got it stuck in her mouth as Kassem thanked and praised the actions of President Trump.

Kassem told CNN he cried with joy by President Trump’s reaction to the chemical attack on his country. He spoke of how grateful he was not only to President Trump but to all the people who lobbied for Trump to do something, for the United States to stand up to this madman Assad. Of course CNN wasn’t getting the answer they wanted so they asked him how he felt about a comment made by Hillary Clinton concerning Presidents Trump stand on the travel ban and not wanting to take in more refugees. After they played a short clip of Clinton on her high horse the anchor woman returned to Kassem for his comment. He politely put her in her place saying “With all due respect” and basically saying where, was Clinton when they needed her in the past. He emphasized they do not want to come to the United States they want to stay in their own country. Like us, they love their country, their homes, and the lives they built with their families. They do not want to be displaced and feel as if they are a burden to others. He ended his interview by asking President Trump not to give up on them and “If you want to help us, help us stay in OUR country!” He called for President Trump to get rid of Assad and ISSIS so they can go home and start to rebuild all that has been destroyed. That’s how we can help them.

Next it was Judge Jeanine Pirro on Fox, of course. She wouldn’t give CNN the time of day. I always enjoy the way the Judge puts things. She is right to the point and far from politically correct. She made no qualms about the weakness of our past President standing by and doing nothing in 2013 while hundreds suffered and died at the hand of Assad. She scoffed at the critics who are now arguing that the warning President Trump gave Putin about the missile strike shows there is collusion between the two. They don’t see it was a way for Trump to show Putin he was not looking for a World War only to put a stop to Assad and his craziness.

Like I said you have to love the way she just comes out and says what’s on her mind as she said, “For all those people who said there was this ‘brormance’ between Donald Trump and Putin, well, the ‘bromance’ is over.” Well said Judge and I agree with her 100 %. There never was anything between Russia and Trump but the media needs to keep the story alive and well so they can keep spinning their web of lies.

I have made no bones about my family coming here as legal aliens over a hundred years ago. Proud of coming to this country for a better life for their family. They never went back to Italy but that was their choice to leave and their choice not to return. These people in Syria have not been given a choice and because of their religious beliefs they are being persecuted, women and children along with men are being murdered by their own government. Still these refugees don’t want us to open our doors to them they want us to help open the doors to Syria so they can go home and be in the land they love since they did not make the choice to leave and start over in a new strange land.

Kasheem is not the first refugee to express his desire to return home to his country and start his life again. I read a blog by a young man who was only 22 when the fighting started and living not far from Damascus. He too lived through the attack from Assad with chemical weapons and tells of how they also dropped barrel bombs and missiles on them using the regime aircraft. They were literally living in hell on earth.

The only way out was to get fake documents and each time he had to pass through a check point he feared being discovered, arrested, and taken away. He is now living in a refugee camp in Germany and thankful to them for taking him in but still wants to return home where he can one day finish school as he was a medical student. The horrors he has had to endure at such a young age is heart breaking but this is not their fault. They live under the rule of a madman who should never be allowed to stay in office.

Displaced, these refugees cannot go home like my ancestors could. They are stuck in limbo hoping and praying for the war to stop. Their cries have not been heard by those in power as they beg for someone, anyone with the power and strength to stand up to Assad and give them back their home.  To take him out of power and give the Syrian’s back their country. All this time, all these years, no one has heard their cries for help but they have opened their doors to these refugees who just want to be able to go home and live their lives. Who have begged world leaders to help them get their country back and yet no one has listened.

Instead the mainstream media has painted President Trump and the American people who oppose us opening our doors to just anyone as being horrible. Well, finally these refugees have someone who heard their pleas in President Donald Trump. He will not stand by and allow these atrocities to go on anymore. He will not allow Assad to kill innocent people and he will not be bullied.
For the first time in a long time these Syrian refugees have hope of one day being able to return home. That hope came with President Trump flexing his muscles and proving to the world the United States will not stand ideally by and allow these things to happen. He will be there for those who want and need our help.

The liberals in this country need to do some research and read all the stories from the Syrian refugees posted online, begging for help to return home to their own country and not come here to the United States or anywhere else. They have a right to be in their own homes, in their own country, and to be free to do as they wish, to worship as they wish and live their lives as they have always dreamed. No one should be allowed to take that from them.

If we really wanted to help these people then get behind President Trump. Stand strong and united as a country and show our support for everyone in Syria, all those who have already been displaced, and President Trump and his administration so they can do whatever it takes to get the job done and bring everyone home. It’s time we all stood together and showed the world the United States stands strong and we all stand behind our President as our Commander and Chief.

May God Bless America and help the Syrian refugees return to their homeland without having to live in fear.
